The Challenge
Ardlinn Executive Search was retained by a Global Energy company to find a Global VP of Health & Safety in late October 2015, with the successful candidate to be based in either in the US or Western Europe. The organisation had been seeking the right candidate for over 12 months and had used a number of other recruitment companies without success.
Ardlinn’s Approach
Ardlinn produced a target list of 60 International companies and a longlist of 519 potential candidates. We successfully made contact with 264 candidates. 146 were eliminated due to their location and experience. 118 telephone interviews were conducted with 41 candidates progressing to a face-to-face interview with us. A final shortlist of 8 candidates was submitted to the client in mid-November, all of whom were telephone screened by the client.
The Result
Four candidates were invited to the client’s European office for a final interview, and the successful candidate was offered and accepted the role in December.
Due to the success of this search, the client has retained Ardlinn to find a Global Director of Environmental Sustainability.
