Medical and Research Centre – Qatar

Ardlinn Executive Search was retained to conduct a global search to find an Executive Director of Nursing Continuous Education & Professional Development.

The Challenge

Ardlinn Executive Search was retained to conduct a global search to find an Executive Director of Nursing Continuous Education & Professional Development. The position required candidates to have very specific experience in both woman and children’s health and in depth expertise across a number of clinical practice areas. Ideally the successful candidate would be working in one of the top children’s hospitals internationally so this coupled with the location made the search extremely challenging.

Ardlinn’s Approach

We spent a number of days with our client in Doha meeting with all of the key stakeholders to ensure we had a thorough understanding of their requirements and working with them to build out their proposition. We also took this opportunity to explore the facilities, the housing options available and the city itself. This provided us with the in depth knowledge and unique insights required to engage, attract and effectively sell the opportunity to target candidates.

The Result

Ardlinn researched over 70 of the world’s best Woman and Children’s Hospitals producing a longlist of over 200 candidates. Following conducting our own internal interview and selection process we submitted a shortlist of 5 excellent candidates for the position. Following the client interviews we successfully filled this position within 10 weeks of receiving the brief and visiting the client.
