A qualified Chartered Accountant, Aengus began his career at KPMG. Aengus was introduced to the aviation industry by his first client at KPMG, GPA, and in 1998 decided to enter the Aviation and Finance sector. In 2007, Aengus joined AerCap, the world’s largest aircraft leasing firm. Since 2011 he has acted as chief executive and just two years after being appointed CEO, led the largest M&A transaction ever in the aircraft leasing sector.
